Why Vail Powder Cars

A Real Vail Company.

Vail Powder Cars is based in the Vail Valley, at 3105 Bellflower Dr., Vail, CO 81657. We live here and we drive here. That is why we know which hotel entrance works during a storm, how long the pass really takes on a Friday in February, and where the construction is this week. When you call, you reach George or Kyla.

Driven by Vail Valley drivers

Our drivers live in the Vail Valley and drive I-70 and Vail Pass year round. Every driver is evaluated on mountain driving skill, judgment and guest service before transporting a guest. That is not the industry standard, and it should be.

A real Vail address

The vehicles park here. The phone rings here. We are members of the Vail Chamber & Business Association and the Vail Valley Partnership, and you can check both directories yourself.

A fleet built for this weather

Silver Chevrolet Suburbans and Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, maintained by us and running winter tires from October through mid-April. Blizzak DM-V2s on the Suburbans, studded snows on the Sprinters. Every vehicle is replaced long before reliability becomes a concern.

You leave when you are ready

Your vehicle is reserved for your group from pickup to drop-off, so the departure time is yours. We track your flight, we wait when bags are slow, and child seats are free, every ride.

Fourteen is one van. We have moved groups of 200 and more. We run roughly ten vehicles through the winter, so larger parties travel together in multiple Suburbans and Sprinters on a single schedule, with Kyla coordinating every vehicle. Weddings, retreats and group transportation.

Who Drives You

The Person Behind the Wheel Is the Whole Service.

George and Kyla Sink have lived in the Vail Valley for more than thirty years. George drives, Kyla runs dispatch and tracks your flight. The drivers we hire live here too, and they drive these roads all winter, not twice a season.

Why that matters on I-70. Colorado does not require a special license to drive for a limo company. A standard driver's license plus PUC paperwork is the whole requirement, and none of it measures whether a person can actually drive. So we test for it ourselves, on driving skill and on how someone treats a guest, before they ever carry a passenger.

The curves through Dowd Junction, the climb over Vail Pass at 10,662 feet, the construction on Floyd Hill: those are different roads in February than they are in July. Knowing that is the job.

Every driver completes it before transporting guests

Anyone Can Drive on Bluebird Days.

Guests hire us for the other days. Closures, whiteouts, the mornings the traction law goes into effect, the Friday backups, the storms that park themselves on Vail Pass. We have driven these roads in every condition Colorado has produced.

That is what you are actually paying us for.

When the Schedule Cannot Slip

Vail Limo Service FAQ

Do you offer shared shuttles?
No. Every reservation is private. Your vehicle is reserved exclusively for your group, from pickup to drop-off.
Do you have stretch limousines?
No. We operate Chevrolet Suburbans (up to 6 passengers) and Mercedes Sprinter vans (up to 14 passengers). Stretch limousines are not practical on mountain roads, particularly Vail Pass in winter. Our fleet is built for the actual driving conditions in the Vail Valley.
Which Colorado airports do you serve?
We serve six: Denver International (DEN), Eagle County (EGE) including the Signature FBO, Aspen (ASE), Rifle (RIL), Grand Junction (GJT) and Centennial (APA). We also meet private aircraft at the Vail Valley Jet Center. We pick up at commercial terminals and private FBOs, and we run mountain routes across Colorado.
How large a group can you transport?
Each Mercedes-Benz Sprinter seats up to 14 guests and each Chevrolet Suburban seats up to 6. We run roughly ten vehicles through the winter, so larger parties travel together in multiple vehicles on a single schedule. We have moved groups of 200 and more for weddings, corporate retreats and private club events, and Kyla coordinates every vehicle personally.
How much does a Vail limo service cost?
Denver Airport to Vail starts at $595. Eagle County Airport to Vail starts at $290. Denver Airport to Aspen starts at $1,200. All pricing is flat-rate and all-inclusive, no surge fees, no hidden charges, no surprises at drop-off. Pickups between 10 PM and 7 AM add $100.
Are car seats included with your Vail limo service?
Yes, and always free. Every vehicle carries rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing toddler seats, high-back boosters, and backless boosters at no additional charge. Most car services in the Vail Valley charge $15 to $25 per seat. We never have.
Do you serve Beaver Creek, Avon, and Edwards?
Yes. We provide limo service throughout the Vail Valley, including Beaver Creek, Avon, Edwards, Eagle, and surrounding areas. We also run routes to and from Aspen, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and other Colorado mountain destinations.
Is your Vail limo service available 24/7?
Yes, 365 days a year. Red-eye landings at 2 AM, early-morning departures before the lifts open, holidays, blizzards, and powder days included. Call or text George and Kyla directly at (970) 471-9792.

We don't pester guests for reviews after every ride. We'd rather earn another ride. The reviews below were written because our guests wanted to share their experience, not because we interrupted their vacation to ask for five stars.

“We have used Vail Powder Cars many times for transportation from both Denver and Eagle, and they have always been reliable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. On one trip, they even safely drove us through a snowstorm from Denver to Vail, which really showed their professionalism and skill. I would absolutely trust them to drive my family again and again. Highly recommend!”
Christy Voss
“The single best private car service for Vail and Beaver Creek. We have been using Vail Powder Cars for 7 years now for trips to and from both Denver and Eagle airports to Beaver Creek and they have been outstanding every time. Always friendly, on time, helpful and great drivers. George and Kyla are simply the best. A family operation, and truly professional. Cannot recommend them highly enough.”
Tim Bridges
“Kyla and George are always going above and beyond for our members at Inspirato. I know when I book with Vail Powder Cars that everything will be taken care of and my guests are in the best of hands.”
