Your Car to The Sebastian

To the Front Door of The Sebastian.

Vail Powder Cars is a family-run private car and limo service in Vail, Colorado, operating since 2015. We run direct airport transfers to The Sebastian – Vail from both Denver International (DIA) and Eagle County (EGE), and put you in one of our Suburbans or Sprinters, never a shared shuttle.

The Sebastian sits at 16 Vail Rd in the heart of Vail Village, steps from Gondola One and the shops and restaurants of the village. We drop you right at the entrance, hand your bags to the bell staff, and you are checked in and on the mountain instead of hunting for a ride.

We are family-owned by George and Kyla Sink. We have lived in this valley since 1994, long before we started this business. When you book a car with us, you are getting the company George and Kyla built, with the standards they set.

Booked, tracked, and waiting for you, from the terminal to the doors of The Sebastian.
What We Do

Private Airport Transfers to The Sebastian.

Private SUV transportation between The Sebastian and the two airports that serve the Vail Valley:

Denver International Airport (DIA). 120 miles from Vail, two hours best case. Most of our airport bookings.

Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE). About thirty minutes from the hotel. The closer option, with seasonal direct flights from major East Coast and Midwest cities.

We also handle local trips: between The Sebastian and other Vail Village or Lionshead hotels, over to Beaver Creek or Bachelor Gulch, to and from the Vail Valley Jet Center for private aviation arrivals, and hourly charter for events, weddings, and special occasions.

Every trip is private. We do not run shared shuttles. The vehicle you book is yours from pickup to drop-off.

Suburban

Chevrolet Suburban

Full-size luxury SUVs for one to six passengers with luggage and ski or board equipment. Snow tires November through April.

Sprinter

Mercedes Sprinter Van

For larger groups, wedding shuttles, family reunions, ski clubs, and corporate parties of seven to fourteen.

The Hotel

The Sebastian, Heart of Vail Village.

The Sebastian – Vail is a luxury mountain retreat at 16 Vail Rd, centrally located in Vail Village and within walking distance of shopping, dining, galleries, skiing, hiking, and biking. The hotel overlooks the slopes of Vail Mountain and sits near Gondola One, so you are minutes from the lifts the moment you drop your bags.

Once you are settled, everything is on property. Dine at Zuma Vail, the contemporary Japanese izakaya on the upper level, or grab craft cocktails and small plates with live music at The Gambit Bar. In summer, there is full food and cocktail service poolside.

The expansive outdoor heated pool looks straight out at the mountain, with underwater benches, a waterfall, and hot tubs flanking the steps, plus a pair of adults-only hot tubs set back for a quieter soak. Base Camp, at the foot of Gondola One, handles ski-in/ski-out valet, so you can walk from our car to the slopes without missing a beat.

Whether you are arriving for a ski week, a wedding, or a summer stay, we know the exact drop-off, the loading zones, and the fastest clean route from either airport in any weather. No circling the village looking for the entrance.

Pickup and drop-off anywhere in Vail Village, Lionshead, Cascade Village, Golden Peak, and the surrounding valley, The Sebastian included.

The Experience

We Are Waiting for You, Not the Other Way Around.

We track your flight and adjust to delays automatically, no calls, no texts, no rebooking. The minute you land at DIA, we text you with simple, clear directions to your vehicle: something like "head out Door 510, Island 2, first Suburban on your left, tag VPC 04." Grab your bags and walk straight to the car.

We meet private aviation planeside at Signature's Vail Valley Jet Center and the NetJets facility at EGE. We help with bags and ski gear, and we deliver you right to the doors of The Sebastian. The vehicle is clean, the driver is professional and happy to see you. If anything goes sideways, we handle it. That is the job.

We have been doing this long enough to know what matters: showing up, being prepared for weather, knowing the route, and treating every trip like it is the most important one of the season.

Good to Know

The Sebastian Transportation FAQ.

How far is The Sebastian from Denver International Airport?
The Sebastian – Vail is 120 miles west of Denver International Airport via I-70. The drive takes approximately two hours in clear conditions, longer in winter weather and weekend traffic. We recommend leaving the hotel at least four hours before your flight in winter, and three and a half in summer.
How far is The Sebastian from Eagle County Airport?
About thirty minutes. Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is the closer option, with seasonal direct flights from major East Coast and Midwest cities. It makes for a short, easy transfer straight to the hotel.
Where is The Sebastian located?
The Sebastian – Vail is at 16 Vail Rd, in the heart of Vail Village. It overlooks Vail Mountain and sits near Gondola One, within walking distance of the village shops and restaurants.
Do you drop off right at the hotel entrance?
Yes. We deliver you to the front door of The Sebastian, help with bags and ski gear, and hand off to the bell staff. We know the drop-off and loading zones for the property.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track every flight automatically. If your arrival time changes, we adjust without you needing to do anything. You will find your driver waiting whenever you actually land, not when your ticket said you would land.
Do you provide car seats?
Yes. Booster seats and child seats are available on request at no additional charge. Just let us know the ages and weights of any kids when you book and we will have the right seats installed and ready.
Do you drive in snowstorms?
Yes. We have been driving I-70 over Vail Pass in every condition Colorado throws at it for thirty-plus years. Our vehicles run snow tires through the winter and our drivers are local. Anyone can make the drive on a bluebird day. We relish the powder days.
Can you accommodate ski equipment?
Yes. Suburbans easily handle six passengers plus skis or boards for everyone. For larger groups or expedition gear, the Sprinter has the capacity for groups of up to fourteen with all their equipment.
How far in advance should I book?
For peak holiday weeks (Christmas, Presidents' Day, Spring Break, MLK), book as soon as you have flight details, those weeks fill up months ahead. For regular ski season weeks, a week or two of notice is usually enough. We do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings, but cannot promise availability without notice.
